In my work, I created cardboard hangers to hang the following three objects - a plastic chair, a bottle of beer and a shirt. The hangers were created in a special technique called steam bending, used also for woodworking.

The hangers were hanged using two different methods. In the first method, the hangers are fixed to the wall using a hidden screw and in the second method, the hangers are hanged over the door and stay in place when the door is closed over them.

 

The different set of hangers neutralize the original purpose of the objects while also drawing the attention to the uniqueness of the hangers.
